Are you looking for an engagement ring, wedding band or a special gift of jewellery?

It is a simple process to discuss with me and normally commences with a free meeting personally or over the internet if you don't have time to travel. We will discuss your ideas, make suggestions, provide samples of my work and gain an understanding of what is most important for your budget.

Then the fun begins. It often involves drawing various designs and viewing samples to ensure we share the same vision. If diamonds or coloured stones are desired a small range will be sourced for you to view and choose from.

Once this is concluded the making process begins. If you are available you will be invited to view your piece just before the stones are set for a fitting and to check all is to your plan, this is a very exciting time.

Once your piece is completed I can arrange for an independent valuer to asses and provide documents for insurance if desired before collection.

The four 'C's' of diamonds - carat, clarity, colour and cut

Carat refers to a diamonds weight, not its size. A carat is one-fifth of a gram.

Clarity is the degree to which a diamond is internally free of flaws. Flaws (or inclusions) cut a gem's sparkle and thus its price.

Colour refers to a diamond's transparency. As a rule the more transparent a diamond is, the higher the price.

Cut refers to a diamond's shape, such as round or oval. It also refers to how well the diamond has been cut to that shape. This is known as the "make".

I only purchase my stones from trusted merchants who regularly travel. This allows me to source unique stones such as emeralds from Columbia, diamonds that adhere to the Kimberley Process, rubies and sapphires from Thailand, Australia and Sri Lanka (Ceylon), black pearls from Rarotonga, opals from Australia, stunning tourmaline and many other interesting stones.
